Privacy Policy for Three Clues

Three Clues ("the app", "we", "us") is a word puzzle game. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app and its third-party services process. We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any similar personal information.

Information We Process

The app uses a small number of third-party services that process limited, non-identifying data to keep the app free and working:

  • Advertising (Google AdMob). We show ads. AdMob may process a device advertising identifier, ads you have seen or interacted with, and general usage signals to serve and measure ads. On iOS, ads are personalized only if you allow tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you still see non-personalized ads.
  • Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics). We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — for example levels completed, stars earned, in-app credit totals, and days since install — to understand how the game is played and improve it. This data is tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your identity.
  • In-app purchases (Apple App Store / Google Play). If you buy a credit pack, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We log the pack purchased and credit amount for analytics only.

We do not collect precise or coarse location for any app feature, and we do not sell your personal information.

How the Data Is Used

  • To display and measure advertising.
  • To analyze and improve gameplay and app performance.
  • To process in-app purchases.

Your Tracking Choices

  • iOS: You control ad tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android: You can reset or limit your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads.
  • You can request an ads-consent form (region-permitting) via the in-app privacy options where available.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention

Advertising and analytics data are retained by Google according to their respective policies. We do not maintain our own user database.
